"Hand selecting the best produce to bring back to Nino's each morning."
Peak Season for Produce
Now that the 4th of July has come and gone, it’s time to start thinking about all the delicious homegrown fruits and vegetables on the horizon. It’s peak season for a lot of the produce at Nino’s right now.
Beautiful California peaches and nectarines are here, tree ripe and ready to eat. Amazing golf-ball-size Washington sweet cherries and picture-perfect, sweet Watsonville California strawberries. Within a week or so, we will have fresh California green figs as well.
We also have a lot of beautiful Michigan-grown vegetables ready for the dinner table. Romaine lettuce, green leaf lettuce, red leaf lettuce and Boston lettuce are all ready for that colorful salad bowl. Michigan grown pickles, cucumbers, radishes, zucchini and summer squash are also available daily in our stores. Soon to come, we will even have Michigan sweet corn and vine-ripened tomatoes.
Stop by Nino’s, and we’ll be happy to show you all the beautiful Michigan-grown produce available for the picking.
