It’s time to celebrate the National Football League’s 51st Super Bowl Championship. I must admit that it’s always exciting, whether you are hosting a party or getting invited to one. Personally, the things I look forward most are the commercials and the halftime show, especially when Bruno Mars performed! Not to forget all the friendly booing and cheering among your close friends, along with all the delicious food and drinks. Although I am not much of a football fan, I am definitely married to one. He is a football fanatic, constantly glued to the TV on Sundays and Mondays.

Super Bowl wouldn’t be Super Bowl without some cold brews and mouth-watering cocktails. Here are a couple of ideas to get your party started.

Founders All Day IPA- $18.99 plus deposit

Super Bowl wouldn’t be Super Bowl without a nice cold brew! Why not try a fifteen pack of Founders All Day IPA, brewed rite here in Michigan. This beer is brewed with complexity, and it’s well balanced, not too heavy, clean, fresh and full of flavor. You could drink this all day!

This Short’s Brewing sampler pack–$18.99 plus deposit–is brewed right here in Michigan. These beers have a little something for everybody. It’s a perfect mix for your Super Bowl party.

Super Bowl Touchdown Punch

This punch will please everyone at the party.

Ingredients:
1 part Vodka
1 part Tequila
1 part Rum
1 part Gin
1 part Triple sec
2 ½ parts lemon-lime Gatorade
Add one splash of coke for color.

Directions:
Fill a punch bowl with chunks of ice. Pour the ingredients into the bowl, and stir well.

Shots are a fun way of celebrating your winning team! This shot will not only help you celebrate but also wake you up.

C4 Shot

In a shot glass, combine equal parts Fireball Cinnamon Whisky with equal parts coffee liqueur.

No matter what team you are rooting for, Super Bowl parties are always fun.

Cheers,
Simone
