Good Value Wines Under $15.00
Expensive wine can be amazing and it is nice to be able to bring out that special bottle you’ve been saving, so that you can share it with friends and family that appreciate it just as much as you do.
Great wine doesn’t have to cost a lot of money and here at Nino’s we have a huge selection to choose from all over the map. If your shopping for a special gathering or party and you really don’t want to break the bank, here are some great and interesting buys all for under fifteen dollars.
Alvarez de Toledo Mencia Roble 2009 – $11.99
A delightful red wine made with the Mencia grape from Spain. The aroma displays sour cherries and pomegranate with black licorice and blackberries on the finish. It’s a perfect pairing with pepperoni pizza, wild game and manchego cheese.
Roero Arneis DOCG
Made with the white Arneis grape from Piedmont. A dry wine that is delicately crisp, with the sweet smell of fragrant perfume. On the palate it is light bodied with flavors of apples, pears and apricots. A delightful accompaniment with fish and hors-d’ oeuvres.
Domaine Laroque Cabernet Franc 2016 – $10.99
Made with 100% Cabernet Franc grape. An exceptional medium bodied red wine and one of my personal favorites at this price range. I would describe this wine as delicate and elegant with rich fruit flavors ending with silky smooth tannins.
HB Picpoul De Pinet – $12.99
Feel like seafood tonight? Then this dry citrusy white is the way to go, it’s fresh and crisp with flavors of grapefruit and lime with mouth a watering acidity. Pair with oysters or shrimp.
Don’t forget there is always someone to help you find that perfect wine here at Nino’s.
I hope you found this helpful.
