Summer Beers

As summer reaches its peak, it makes me think about smoky barbeques, exotic beach trips and bumpy boat rides. And there’s nothing more refreshing than having fun in the sun and opening up an ice-cold beer.

Today, beer is a huge deal, and our guests at Nino’s love their beer. But I must admit it gets overwhelming trying to keep up with all the new beer trends and breweries popping up left and right. Here at Nino’s, we try to do our best for our guests and let them know all the new and up-and-coming varieties we have.

Here are a couple of summer favorites from our beer department that are light enough to have all summer long.

Schofferhofer Hefeweizen Grapefruit

Style: Hefeweizen

Refreshing and tangy with flavors of grapefruit and orange and a hint of sweetness. Best served ice cold in a frosted glass.

Founders Rubaeus

Style: Fruit beer

Now available all year round, its flavors are refreshingly delicious with a sweet tartness, combined with essence of raspberries, cranberries and cherries.

Kona Big Wave

Style: Golden Ale

A lighter-bodied style with a slight hop aroma and fruit and honey flavors, ending with a slight sweetness.

Bells Oberon

Style: American Wheat Ale

This summer classic is a Nino’s favorite with spicy fruit flavors and a refreshing mouth feel.

Remember to have fun in the sun!
