Valentine’s Day is a celebration of love and affection, and it’s always very romantic to tell your loved one how much you appreciate him or her.
So, you think you have everything you need, including a loved one, delicious chocolates, maybe a cute card and a stuffed animal, or a candlelight dinner for two? Personally, I’d like to pop open a nice bottle of red wine and cozy up by the fireplace. Whatever your tastes, there is something for everyone here at Nino’s. It’s time to feel the love this Valentine’s Day. Here are my suggestions to make it a little easier.

Slo Down Sexual Chocolate – California- $28.99

A fabulous wine, loaded with plenty of spice and smoke, blended with Syrah and Malbec grapes. It’s bold, but not too heavy, ending with an intense dark chocolate spice on the finish. Perfect with red meats and red sauces.

Love Noir Pinot Noir- California $11.99

Take a sip and fall in love with this delicious fruit-forward Pinot, full of rich dark cherry flavors ending with a smooth and sultry finish. You can pair it with your favorite salmon dish or simply cheese and crackers.

Gerard Bertrand Cote Des Roses Rose- France-$16.99

All the way from the Languedoc region of France. This wine is delicate, fresh, and fruity, and it comes in a beautiful rose-shaped bottle with a convenient glass top.

Valentine Vodka- Michigan, USA-$29.99

Smooth and delicious, it’s made with three grains of corn, wheat, and barley. A perfect vodka for your dirty Martini.

Baileys Strawberries & Cream Ice Cream

There’s nothing like ending the night with something sweet. Try this and indulge.

2 oz Baileys Strawberries & Cream
2 Scoops vanilla bean ice cream
Fresh-cut strawberries for garnish
1: Add two scoops of vanilla bean ice cream to a bowl.
2: Pour 2 oz of Baileys Strawberries & Cream over ice.
3: Garnish with extra strawberry and serve.
