Wine Gift Guide
Thanksgiving is over! Whew! It’s time to take a deep breath and breathe easy for a couple of weeks, until the next big holiday celebration. This is a good time to take a break from the hustle and bustle and think about the perfect gift for that certain wine-loving someone in your life. As you walk the aisles of the wine department here at Nino Salvaggio, you will be delighted to see all the options and find that there are so many wines to choose from. As always, if you need any suggestions, there is always someone here to help you. No matter what your taste or preference, you are sure to find some awesome gift ideas. Enjoy our wine cellar and other wine displays because you will not be pressured like a Black Friday sale :).
Here are a few gift ideas.
Napa Valley Quilt Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
New at Nino’s and one of my new favorites, it makes the perfect gift for the wine lover who enjoys a wine with soft, velvety tannins and red and black fruits. This wine is deliciously ripe with blackberry aroma and highly concentrated with rich berries and toasty oak. Ending with a soft, lingering finish.
Celani Chardonnay 2014 – Napa Valley, California
This is a delicious chardonnay for the white wine enthusiast on your list. Delicate and exotic with pineapple, pear, peaches and cream with exquisite mineral notes.
Tenuta Antinori Tignanello 2013 – Italy
A real treat for the super Tuscan wine lover, this wine is big and bold with a little spiciness on the nose. On the palate, it features flavors of cherries, plums and licorice with a long, elegant finish.
The holidays are upon us. It’s one of my favorite times when families get together for some holiday cheer. What better way to toast in the season and the end of the year than with these great holiday wines?
